Our Standard Domestic Cleaning Task List

General Dusting & Surfaces

  • Dust all surfaces, including chairs, tables, picture frames, and lampshades.
  • Clean and polish mirrors and glass surfaces.
  • Wipe down window ledges, light switches (removing finger marks and dirt), and skirting boards.
  • Dust radiators.

Specialized Dusting

  • Dust brass and silver items.

Floor & Upholstery

  • Vacuum sofas and tidy cushions.
  • Remove cobwebs from ceilings.

Miscellaneous & Finishing Touches

  • Clean around the fireplace.
  • Empty bins.

Surfaces & Details

  • Dust and polish all tops and surfaces.
  • Dust picture frames and lampshades.
  • Clean and wipe wardrobes and drawers.
  • Clean and polish mirrors and glass surfaces.
  • Dust windowsills and ledges.
  • Clean and wipe light switches, removing finger marks and dirt.
  • Clean and dust skirting boards.

Bed & Organization

  • Make the bed, fluff pillows, and straighten the duvet.
  • Change sheets if needed.
  • Pick up clutter, including clothes left outside the wardrobe (if required).

Floors & Finish

  • Vacuum and mop the floor where necessary.
  • Empty bins.

Toilet & Sink

  • Clean and disinfect the toilet (seat, bowl, inside, and out), polishing as needed.
  • Clean and wash the sink (inside and out), polishing the taps.

Shower & Tub

  • Clean and wash the bathtub, polishing the taps.
  • Clean the shower cabin.
  • Clean and wash all wall tiles.

Surfaces & Details

  • Clean and wash all tops and surfaces, polishing where necessary.
  • Polish mirrors, glass, and chrome fixtures.
  • Clean towel racks and arrange towels neatly.
  • Clean cabinets (if present).
  • Clean and wipe door handles and light switches, removing finger marks.

Floor & Waste

  • Vacuum/mop the floors.
  • Empty bins.

Cabinets & Surfaces

  • Clean and polish all cupboards and drawers, removing stains, dirt, and finger marks.
  • Clean and wash all countertops and surfaces, polishing as needed.
  • Clean and wash the sink, shining taps and the tiles around it.

Appliance Care

  • Clean outside the refrigerator and freezer, removing dirt and finger marks.
  • Clean the cooker hobs and the exterior of the oven.
  • Clean the microwave inside and out, removing stains and finger marks where possible.
  • Clean the exterior of all other appliances (like dishwashers, washing machines), removing dirt and finger marks.
  • Wipe clean the extractor hood above the cooker.

Details & Final Touches

  • Clean and wipe door handles, removing stains and finger marks where possible.
  • Dust lampshades and light switches where reachable/possible.
  • Empty bins, change bin bags, and wipe down the bins themselves.

Floors

  • Sweep/vacuum or mop the floor (if not carpeted).

Laundry & Ironing Services

  • Ironing (trousers, shirts, dresses, etc.)
  • Laundry (loading/unloading the washing machine)
  • Folding and putting away cleaned laundry
  • Changing bedding

Kitchen Assistance

  • Washing up dishes and loading/unloading the dishwasher

General Replenishment

  • Refilling cotton balls, soap dispensers, toilet paper, etc.

Important Note: Special request tasks are non-standard and must be discussed and confirmed during booking, as not all cleaners perform them.

We have designed a thorough task list for our End of Tenancy Cleaning services and Deep/Spring Cleaning services, based on personalized experience, which will cover every inch and corner in your home. Our task list and quotations have been based on providing a high level of personalized and efficient service. which we are confident, will provide you with total satisfaction and value for money.

Below is our standard task list which the cleaners complete on a one-off basis, however, if you wish you can prepare your list of requirements for the visit, this task list will help you in preparing your own cleaning list.

  1. Clean and wash all tops and surfaces, polish where necessary

  2. Clean and wash the sink, remove limescale and polish

  3. Cleaning and polishing all cupboards and drawers inside and out, remove stains, marks, dirt, and fingerprints

  4. Clean the fridge and freezer inside and out,

  5. Clean the hubs and oven outside

  6. Clean the microwave inside and out, remove stains and marks where possible

  7. Clean the extractor over the cooker

  8. Clean and wipe the door, remove marks and fingerprints where possible

  9. Dust lamp shape and light switches where possible

  10. Hovering and mopping the floor (if not carpeted)

  11. Steam cleaning of tiles and floors making it germ-free (charged extra)

 

  • Clean the cabinets inside and out (if there are any)

  • Clean and wipe the door, remove marks and fingerprints

  • Clean and wash the bathtub(shower cabin), polishing the tabs

  • Hovering and mopping the floor

  • Polishing mirrors and glasses

  • Clean and dust the fan (if possible)

  • Clean and wash all tops and surfaces, polish where necessary

  • Clean and disinfect toilet seat inside and out, toilet bowl inside and out, polish where necessary

  • Clean and wash the tiles and between the tiles, remove limescale

  • Clean and wash the sink, polish the taps

  • Steam cleaning of tiles and floors to remove stubborn dirt and kill germs (charged extra)

  • Clean and wipe skirting boards
  • Clean and wipe and radiators
  • Move light furniture (if possible), vacuum underneath and behind
  • Clean and wipe light switches, remove fingerprints and dirt
  • Clean and wipe down doors and the door frame
  • Dust picture frames and lamp shapes
  • Any sofas will be vacuumed, the cushions will be lifted and vacuumed underneath
  • Any furniture outside only – inside on request and additional time may require to take the belongings out and place them in after Cleaning them

Health and Safety

For health and safety reasons:

  • Cleaners are not allowed to work with volatile chemicals or in such environments.
  • Cleaners are not allowed to work at heights or outside your property.
  • Cleaners are not allowed to give personal hygiene or clean human waste.
  • Cleaners are not allowed to lift heavy object or furniture’s
  • Cleaners are not allowed to clean electrical items unless is switched off from the mains.
